Fayetteville Kennel Club, Sanford, NC February 29 to March 1, 2020

We got 6 qualifying scores out of 11 runs this weekend! No double-Qs yet, but we’re working on it. On Saturday, we got 3 out of 4 Qs! It would have been 4 for 4 except Ann missed one little thing!!! ARGGHHH! We had fun though and this was our 11th AKC trial, so we’re not complaining! We’re competing in the Master’s classes now!
Time 2 Beat. Friday, Feb 28, 2020 Perfect run. We got a Q!
NQ on this run because Ann went off course at the end.
NQ on this run because Ann went off course at the end, again. Still working on focus.
We finally got another Q this day! It was messy, but we’ll take it!
We got 4th place, but we’re only off by less than 10 seconds! We’re going to keep working at it!!!
Q on this first run of the morning. That’s why we do Time 2 Beat! We got 3rd place and 8 points and ran the course in 38.18 seconds!
We got a Q on this run, even though it was a wee bit messy. We got 30 MACH points even though we came in 4th place. Those dogs are fast!!!
We almost missed this Q, but we did it! Sometimes your dog does not go where you planned her to go and then you have to improvise on the run.
Ann went straight to Jump number 13, rather than Jump 3. Not sure what happened. We could have gotten a double-Q, but not this day!!!
No Q on this run. Mom came and Ann went to go look for her. Mom is still banned from coming to trials. You can see where Ann gets a whiff of her scent in the middle of the course.
We had to send Mom home. Ann then ran fine and we got a Q on this Master JWW run. We got 4th place and 14 MACH points.
No Q on this run and no double Q this day. Ann back-jumped the jump after the table, which was weird.

    1. Thank you, Marianne! I know I am having so much fun with my dog. I never imagined I could connect and communicate with my dog in this way! I am so proud of my Ann Perkins.
